Abstract: Tibet is relatively rich in plant diversity, and although several plant diversity surveys have been conducted, there are still serious imbalances, and some areas and taxa are under-collected or even some gaps. In order to fill the survey gaps, fieldwork was carried out to target areas of weakness in plant diversity surveys in Rikaze. We found an unrecorded plant of the genus Meconopsis, collected specimens and seeds. After consulting Flora Xizangica, Flora Reipublicae Popularis Sinicae, Flora of China, Flora of Nepal, it was identified as M. dhwojii G. Taylor ex Hay. Reported as follows: (1) Descriptions and photographs are provided. (2) Seed micromorphology and morphological differences between closely related species also are provided. The new discovery enriches the diversity and also provides new research information of the genus Meconopsis in China, which has some biogeographical significance and potential horticultural value for the study of Meconopsis in Tibet and even in China. There is a long way to go in researching the genus Meconopsis. We should strengthen field research and carry out research by multi-technical means in the future.

Abstract: In order to explore the response mechanism of AP2/ERF gene family in the water stress of Olea europaea, this study performed transcriptome sequencing on the roots and leaves of two cultivars 'Frantoio' and 'TYZ-1' that were under drought and flooding stress. And based on the whole genome data, the protein physicochemical properties, gene structure and system evolution of AP2/ERF transcription factor in O. europaea were analyzed. At the same time, the difference in gene expression of AP2/ERF transcription factor related to water stress in the two O. europaea cultivars was analyzed by transcriptome sequencing data and verified by fluorescence quantitative PCR. The results were as follows: (1) A total of 110 AP2/ERF gene family members were identified in O. europaea. The amino acid size of the 110 proteins is 173-717bp, there is no signal peptide and it is a non-secreted protein. The phylogenetic tree was constructed between O. europaea AP2/ERF and model plant Arabidopsis AP2/ERF protein. It was found that O. europaea AP2/ERF protein was divided into four categories: AP2, RAV, ERF and Solosist. Among them, ERF is divided into two subtypes: ERF and DREB. ERF includes six subtypes of ERF B1 to ERF B6, and DREB includes six subtypes of DREB A1 to DREB A6, which is consistent with the classification of the model plant Arabidopsis AP2/ERF. Each subfamily contains AP2/ERF proteins of O. europaea and Arabidopsis at the same time, indicating that the AP2/ERF family of Arabidopsis and O. europaea are similar in evolution. (2) The analysis of gene structure and conserved elements found that the proteins of the same subfamily of O. europaea AP2/ERF have the same gene structure and conserved elements. Combining gene expression with genes with known water regulation functions in the evolutionary tree, it is preliminarily speculated that OeAP2-75, OeAP2-97, OeAP2-101, OeAP2-23, OeAP2-13 are closely related to the water regulation of O. europaea, OeAP2-13, OeAP2-28, OeAP2-104, OeAP2-75, OeAP2-80, OeAP2-50 have different expression levels in the two varieties. It is speculated that this may be the reason for the different resistance of 'Frantoio' and 'TYZ-1'. The RT-qPCR technique was used to detect the expression changes of O. europaea AP2/ERF gene under different stresses. The results showed that OeAP2-101, OeAP2-28, and OeAP2-42 were significantly up-regulated by water stress, which was consistent with the results of transcriptome analysis. The results of this study can lay a foundation for the research on the stress resistance expression and gene function of the AP2/ERF family genes of O. europaea, and provide a method and theoretical basis for the selection of drought-resistant and flood-tolerant rootstock varieties of O. europaea.

Abstract: Dipterocarpus retusus Bl. is state’s key protected wild plant. It is the representative species in tropical rainforest of Southeast Asia. Our study aims to elucidate the community characteristics of Dipterocarpus retusus forest which has not yet studied before. Four community plots (30 m×30 m) and 20 population plots (10m×10m) were typically sampled in the Dipterocarpus retusus forest distributed in Niuluo River Natural reserve in Jiangcheng County. The height, DBH (diameter at breast height), numbers and community characteristic of all the spermatophyte species were recorded. We evaluated the distribution types, species diversity and population age structure. The results showed that: (1) 181spermatophyte species belonging to 143genera, 76 families were recorded. Dipterocarpus retusus community was dominated by tropical floristic elements, of which 58 families, 126genera and 162species were all belonging to tropical flora and the ratio were as high as 76.32%, 88.11% and 89.50%, respectively. (2) Species diversity indices are varied in different stand layers: Richness index and Shannon-Wiener diversity showed shrub layer>tree layer>herb layer, while Simpson index showed opposite trend shrub layer<tree layer<herb layer and Pielou index is similar in different stand. (3) Dipterocarpus retusus is the donimant species in the community with the highest important value of 26.85 in tree layer. (4) The age structure of Dipterocarpus retusus population had a positive pyramidal type which indicated that the populaiton structure is growing.

Abstract: Jasminum yuanjiangense is an narrowly distributed endemic species in Yuanjiang River Valley of Yunnan province. 4 sample plots, belongs to two vegetation types including dry-hot shrubs and savanna were typically selected in the distribution area of J. yuanjiangense. The population age structure and survival curves were created and the type of population structure were analysesd by Chen Xiaode's Quantification Method, and predicted population dynamics using time sequence model, and compared the population differences between different habitats. The results showed that: (1) The population of J. yuanjiangense presented as a growing type and tend to stable(Vpi’=0.0041). The populations had definite fluctuations during their growth dynamics, and the number of individuals in the pre-growth stage is more than that in the late growth stage. The survival curve of population approached to type Deevey-Ⅲ and Deevey-Ⅰ.The seedlings is abundant, but the mortality is high. The growth and development of individuals were limited from young to middle age. (2) The time sequence model predicted that the population of J. yuanjiangense was able to keep stable and the number of individuals would have a light rising tendency in the coming 2, 4 age classes.1 (3) The population structure of J.yuanjiangense varies greatly among different sites,But it can be roughly divided into two types according to its age structure. Sample plots 1, 2 and 4 (habitat 1) displayed growing type with Deevey-III survival curve, plot 3 (habitat 2) displayed stable type with Deevey-I survival curve. The habitat of stable type is more suitable for the growth of J . yuanjiangense than the habitat of growing type.
